The AA, 2 Rosette Award Winning Restaurant at Ty Mawr sources
over 90% of the seasonal produce used in the kitchens from within a ten-mile
radius of the hotel.
The village of Cilcennin has nearly 50 acres of organic farmland producing fresh
fruit and vegetables practically on Ty Mawr’s doorstep! Locally reared beef,
lamb and pork as well as fresh fish from the sea 4 miles away, ensure that
dining at Ty Mawr is a delight for both the palate and the planet, as food miles
are reduced to almost nil.
Thanks to our talented chefs, Ty Mawr’s menu is constantly changing but remains
consistently creative. The restaurant seats a maximum of 35 diners and so offers
a relaxed, intimate and unhurried atmosphere in which to savour your meal.
